VINELAND, NJ (September 28, 2018) – They came for eggs, waffles and, most of all, to support quality technical education in Cumberland County.
That was the scene today inside the cafeteria at the John F. Scarpa Technical Education Center of Cumberland County, where more than 100 supporters helped raise more than $12,000 to make Cumberland County Technical Education Center (CCTEC) Foundation’s Rise and Dine fundraiser a rousing success. Sponsors included Allen Associates, Century Savings Bank, Inspira Health Network, Performance Marketing and Sodexo. Proceeds from the event support scholarships and quality education opportunities.
“Thank you to everyone supported our school, its students and our commitment to providing a complete technical education curriculum,” CCTEC Foundation Board President, Ronald Franceschini, Jr. said. “This community’s continued dedication to our school will positively affect Cumberland County and the region for generations to come.”
In addition to enjoying a hearty breakfast, guests toured the school where they spoke with students and saw, first-hand, the advanced technology the school offers.
